Do you remember your first job… when you had a few extra dollars in your pocket and the chance to showcase your talent and gain workplace skills? We have many young people in our county that aspire to have that chance too!
Help us help them!
The Summer Youth Employment Program places Camden County youth in summer employment with County employers in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields. The program lasts 6 weeks and each student recieves a competitive hourly wage and gains priceless, first-hand experience in their potential career. Students are chosen through their successful completion of a topic-driven essay and a panel interview. Last summer, the CCWIB raised enough money to select 31 students to participate in the program.
Your support of the SYEP will help us serve more children. Each child costs approximately $1500 . Please consider making a donation to the CCWIB's Summer Youth Employment Program. All donations are tax deductible.
